I just wanted everybody to know that I realize there is absolutely no way to stop someone from stealing my images online so I have done the following: all images are watermarked, IPTC tags are inserted into the file, and I have copyrighted all my images with the US Copyright Office. It would appreciated if you want to use an image that you get permission beforehand. Thank you.

[General]
I have removed my images due to the fact that it appears to be an acceptable practice to take other people's images and use them as their own without acknowledgement or permission. I guess it is my way of protesting this action. I know that it may appear insignificant to many but to the photographer it is like becoming a victim of crime on the internet. They may have put a lot of their time and money into making that photo. Well you know how hard many of you work in the medical field if one day someone came in and took that money without asking how would you feel. I am sure you would be quite upset and angry. Well the next time someone wants to copy a photo and just post it somewhere else consider asking the photographer and giving them credit. I am sure if you asked and gave them credit many photographers would agree to this. I can't guarantee it. Sometimes it is a good idea to put yourself in another's shoes and just because other people do it doesn't make it right. If you saw other people ripping off a damaged store does that make it right for you to participate? Well the obvious answer is no. The medical profession is based on compassion, empathy, and sensitivity. I think it would be a blessing to show that toward the photographer that put his images on the internet to display thinking that people would want to see them only to have them taken and used without his permission. The other word for taking without permission is STEALING. Thank you for letting me share.
Welcome back!
