So I had my first meeting with Dr. Nelson.  He is the doctor at Samaritan at University of Ky that is conducting the study I'm taking part it.  The study is designed to find out more about the brain's behavior during fainting and how REM sleep factors in to it.  Since I have narcolepsy and spend like 3 times as much of my sleep in REM as normal people, I'm a perfect subject for him to use.  We havent gotten much into the actual study yet, just testing equipment and working out kinks in the technique.  He seemed very excited about it though and wants me to come back in a week or so.  Expect to hear more then...
