Hello everyone! I am a member of AACN and as such have been reading a lot about their commitment to promote "Healthy Work Environments". Aparently, in addition to being a part of achieving "Magnet" status; leadership development seems to emerge as one of the main themes to achieving healthy work environments. These environments are known to improve the quality of patient care, and provide a culture where newer nurses are mentored until they are more confident and competent. Are any of your organizations talking aobut this or reaching out for outside help with leadership training and/or development? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Hey guys,
I would like some advice. I am an RN with 18 years experience and am transitioning to Holistic Nursing, Wellness/Prevention. I have just completed 4 levels of Touch for HEalth which is like kinesiology (bodywork) and I need advice on where I belong. Trying on my own in my area isn't working out so well (yet). I am 50 miles north of Columbus, OHIO. Any suggestions???
