Five days from Christmas and I still haven't done

any baking, candy making, Christmas card-sending,

present -wrapping, mantle-decorating, stocking hanging...

WOW...what a mess we have here in Illinois!  Parking lots are solid sheets of ice, as are the streets and roads.  To make it worse, it's extremely foggy.  It took me three tries last night to get up my back drive and into the garage and there really isn't that much of an incline.  I am wondering how many people will call in today.  The pharmacy will be a madhouse, not to mention the rest of the store!  This is one day I wish I could stay home and go back to bed!  TGIF everyone!

It's going to be a 'slip and slide' day here.  I took the dog out this morning and slid down the back driveway.  It snowed, and then late last night we received a nice layer of ICE on top of that snow...crunch, crunch, crunch.  In addition, it's bitterly cold but that has it's redeeming quality(today, anyway)---the dog didn't want to stay out very long!  :)  If it's cold where you are, stay warm today and if it's not, I envy you!

I get to clean today---day off -- Wooo HOOO!

I've been 'surfing' again this morning.  There are TOO many strange videos!  Some people REALLY have active imaginations!  LOL!
