Whew! This sure has been a busy month and it's almost over! We're just 29 days away from Thanksgiving! Sometimes, I think I'd just like to skip November and December on my calendar. I used to love the holidays but for the past several years it has been a bit depressing for me...no Mom, no Dad, no brothers that used to make it fun. I'm one of those people that work as much as they can, volunteer to work over and even on my days off. I just like to work. Unfortunately, I seem to never get caught up on my chores at home...HA! I wonder why? LOL!

Anytime a child has an accident, it's tragic. The last thing that you want to happen is for your child to be hurt on a holiday, it would forever live in the minds of the child and the family.
There are many ways to keep your child safe at Halloween, when they are more prone to accidents and injuries. The excitement of children and adults at this time of year sometimes makes them forget to be careful. Simple common sense can do a lot to stop any tragedies from happening.

It's Friday (again). Man, this month is FLYING by! Before we know it, Thanksgiving will be here. I have a vacation coming up soon and then have an extra twelve days which I am not going to take because we are so short-staffed. I was told yesterday that I can work those twelve days and also get my vacation pay...that's fine with me because 10 days of actually being off will be enough for me. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Well, I'm heading off to work with my apple and sandwich in hand. It's SUCH a nice day today--too bad it's not my day off. :) I hope everyone that can, will post today and keep that yellow shirt from appearing so often! BYE!
