Out here in West TX, it is starting to get cooler in the evenings and it is so nice to be able to sit out in the evenings and just look at the stars! I can't say there are a lot of changing leaves or anything (except, maybe, purple sage), to tell that the season is changing, but the weather is just...nicer!
I miss the changing of the seasons in some of the states I have lived in, though, Nothing like driving along the Blue Ridge!
Where is your favorite spot for viewing the fall changes?

Hi Laffengyrl. Is that a moose behind you?
Patty:-)
I live in Indiana. The Covered Bridge Festival is going on right now for two weeks. The festival is based in Parke County but the surrounding counties also benefit. I call it "yard sale mania". :-)
The leaves are starting to change and it is beginning to look beautiful! It seems the leaves are changing right on time this year. I take pictures of the changing trees and the scenery in general, this time of year. If you would like, I could send you some pics. I also have a slide show that I made up a couple of years ago that I could attempt to post.
I saw the Blue Ridge on a motorcycle a couple of years ago during the summer. It was so beautiful! I can see why it is your favorite place. I would have to say that Kentucky and Tennessee are my favorite places to visit besides my home state of Indiana.
