Thanks Marti.  I really didn't want to know that CHristmas is just 4 months away.  I say every year that I am going to be done with my Christmas shopping by September 1st and it hasn't happened yet.  I just can't deal with shoppers.  It seems that the closer to Christmas it gets, the ruder people are.  Do you think that's stress?  Anyway, I got some really good produce at the Farmer's Market and then bought some of those green bags "as seen on tv".  I'll let you know if they work, but right now I am off to sleep.  Have a good day.~K

Farmer's market is downtown today so I'm going to get a few hours sleep then go there.  The corn is starting to come in here and there is nothing better than Illinois corn.  It's a vegetable dinner tonight for my family.  I hope everyone has a great day.~K

I didn't get much sleep today because I had to get up and attend a funeral at 2 pm.  No fun.  I am thinking about getting one of those six-hour energy drinks and drinking it right after I get to work.  Has anyone tried them yet? ~K

It was a heartbreaking night last night---young couple on a motorcycle hit head-on by a car.  Both died and the woman was in the early stages of pregnancy.  This job is so rewarding most of the time and then something happens that we cannot do anything about.  It's so depressing sometimes.~K
