Quickly and cheerfully carrying out the direction of those who are responsible for me.
I will:
Obey all my authorities immediately
Have a cheerful attitude
Complete all that is expected of me
Go the "extra mile"
Not obey a wrong command
The last point is very important in a culture that no longer shares the values and mores this country was built on. Obedience is paramount in the military, but they want service personnel that actively think. They do not want political "yes men/women". It's important that children learn this lesson and individuals are reminded of this in professional organizations. If any organization is to survive, it must have all individuals thinking for themselves, but also guided by a strong ethical and positive value system.
