    Personal Quote
About Me I am no longer on the southside of 50, I have crested the hill, reached the figurative summit, or anything else you'd like to say about it....I have turned 50 a couple of days ago. I have been Married twice; The second time around Has been great! I sort of Knew what to look for this time; Needless to say I am Happily Married for 11 years. I have two special needs children from my first marriage. They are Both Autistic...My daughter has Asperger's syndrome (we are pretty sure...no formal diagnoses yet but....)and My Son is severely autistic (doesn't talk and isn't potty trained) My daughter is very high functioning my son not so much. My wife and I love to travel and do so as much as we can....not being independently wealthy or retired limits us to once a year.....usually a cruise although if the price was right I think we would consider a land vacation.
Music I like all types of Music except for opera and rap....although there are exceptions. Right now I am listening to Christian Rock; because it tends to not only relax me but makes me feel better when the Rat race gets to be too much! My other favorite is Classic rock!
Movies The Last Movie I saw in a movie theatre was Ghostbusters! I am getting better with the advent of DVD's I've seen "Ray" "Mystic River".
TV I usually watch News and Politics although I have succumbed to the Reality shows! I am almost over "American Idol" My Wife Likes the Dancing shows but my Favorite reality show is "The Biggest Loser" (since I am into Health, nutrition and working out)
Books I usually read Medical based textbooks. The two books (fiction) that have really made an impact on me are "The Boomerang clue" by Agatha Christie and "Battle Circle" by Pierce Anthony
Likes I Generally like My life!...from time to time it throws me a curve(but it's pretty good all in all)I like Pizza,Travel, using my computer, the medical field, and My dogs
Dislikes Mosquitoes! (I live down south so guess why thats at the top of the list right now)Hypocrisy, and when my daughter isn't all she can be (I sound like an Army Commercial)My dislikes tend to generally follow what is going on in my life as my likes do ...but generally once the bad times pass I forget about them
Hobbies Travel (cruising),working out, computer, chess, and crosswords
Vices opinionated, drinking to excess while on vacation (thats why I cruise I don't have to drive anywhere)I tend to obscess on certain things that mean a great deal to me. I can also be quite the procrastinator
    Smoke No
    Drink Yes
Virtues Patience, optimism, and what some people would consider my inner peace.
Heroes Alexander Flemming (discovered penicillin). I also consider people that go the extra mile to help people a hero.
    My Profession Xray tech
A Bit About My Job I was a mobile xray tech...got hurt on the job...now awaiting workers comp while i go to school for CT

    Anatomy tidbit- upper extremity/forearm

The distal radioulnar articulation is created when the ulnar notch of the radius moves around the articular circumference of the ulna. It provides the movements of supination and pronation. The main stabilizing element of the dital radioulnar joint (DRUJ) is an articular disk called the triangular fibrocatilage complex (TFCC). The TFCC is a fan shaped band of fibrous tissue  that originates on the medial surface of the distal radius and traverses horizontally to insert on the ulnar styloid process. It rotates against the distal surface of the ulnar head during pronation and supination. It seperates the ulna and the carpal bones.

I don't think you can make it live on the welcome page. Looks like you've done the best you can.

And yes, I'll be watching at least part of the debate.

Thanks! I usually do fine. I am surprised at how much it helped me to relax juxt to write!

I appreciate your comment and your advice. I use that Sleepytime tea once in a while, too!
