I have been happily married for 13 years with 3 beautiful and lively dogs!
I've been an R.N. residing in Florida since 1992. My areas of expertise are Pediatrics, Newborn & Special Care Nursery, & Maternal-Infant Unit. I've also worked in a surgical office and have done Home-Health Care. I left nursing after 8 years but have recently returned to the field.
My husband Bob and I recently relocated out of Florida to enjoy change of seasons and a larger variety of outdoor activities!
Currently I am actively searching for employment opportunities outside of hospital nursing.

Hi Christen ... THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH for the words of encouragement .. yes getting a good preceptor is the key i do believe ... Its just like i am standing over a cliff looking down at the work force and i guess i just need someone to push me over LOL .. How did the nurse recruiters look at you when you went to interview .. ? Was it awkward ? LOL I just have a hurricane of thoughts running around in my head about what it will be like ... Did you do anything to brush up on any skills before you went in to interview and if so what ? I lost all my nursing books and notes after letting a so called friend use them lol .. so i have nothing to go on from school .. Fill me in .. I need all the help i can get LOL !!!!!
