If it wasn't for the existence of the laser, I would not have been able to spend many years of my life analyzing cells (multispectral imaging, flow cytometry, flourescent microscopy, etc.). I just met a co-inventor, Charles Townes. What a fascinating guy!!

I have been studying inflammatory conditions for a long time. I was under the impression that Kawasoki syndrome was easily controlled by pharmaceuticals. I realize alot of personal info. has not been exposed by the family, but really, what happened?!?! I also understood that once on medication for this, it is almost impossible to have a seizure. I did hear that Jett was taken off medication and that decision may have been influenced by their Scientology beliefs. If true, this is tragic. Any thoughts?
