The Nurse Practitioner position will serve as a comprehensive direct health care provider by functioning as a professional Nurse Practitioner in a community health center. The Nurse Practitioner will perform acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the supervision of a Physician.

The position is located in a Rural Health Clinic associated with a community hospital that is a part of a large health system. The community hospital is a 160 bed Acute Care hospital with a Skilled Care Nursing Faciltiy attached.
The Nurse Practitioner will participate in community and professional efforts concerned with improving quality of health care, and also provide direct care as required in critical patient situations.

Masters degree in Nursing required.
License to practice in PA as a Nurse Practitioner.
Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
Certified in ACLS, PALS, and CPR
