    Clinical Nurse Specialist

     

    Cambridge Search, LLC, Executive Search, has been retained by a highly reputable health system located in Central Pennsylvania to conduct a search for a Clinical Nurse Specialist for their inpatient surgical units. Holy Spirit Hospital is a 317 bed not-for-profit acute care hospital offering a full spectrum of services including diagnostics, cancer care, cardiovascular care and a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  Founded by the Sisters of Christian Charity, Holy Spirit Hospital is a community Catholic Hospital providing a spiritually caring atmosphere to its patients.

    The Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide clinical expertise, consultation, research support and education to a staff of registered nurses on a floor comprised of an orthopedic surgery unit and a general surgery unit. These units were recently renovated and are considered a "model" unit with respect to Press Ganey patient satisfaction scores.  The CNS will also liaison to other units that support the surgical patient, such as PACU, OR and Outpatient Surgery.  This position reports to the Research and Clinical Practice Leader for the health system.

     

    Holy Spirit Hospital has begun the process of applying for magnet status, the highest credential offered by the American Nurse Credentialling Center.  The Orthopedic Surgery unit, in addition, is working towards becoming a Center of Excellence. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will collaborate with the Nurse Manager of the Orthopedic Surgery unit in support of achieving this designation.

     

    We are seeking a Registered Nurse who has obtained a MSN degree with a Clinical Nurse Specialist or other relevant concentration.  A clinical background in the care of the surgical patient is required, as is demonstrated visionary and creative thinking to support advanced clinical and research initiatives.

    Echocardiographer: Cardiac Technologist Needed!

    A renowned academic teaching hospital located in the Philadelphia area is seeking a Lead Echocardiographer for their high-volume cardiac ultrasound department. This facility performs a number of high-level cardiac procedures and has been recognized by the American Heart Association for its performance in treating cardiac patients using the association s Get With The GuidelinesSM (GWTG) program. The hospital has earned the Silver Performance Achievement Award for improving quality of care for coronary artery disease (CAD) and heart failure (HF).

    This Lead Echo Tech position will oversee two full-time and one part-time techs. This is a working tech position, allowing for continued hands-on experience.

    2-5 years of experience as an Echocardiographer, preferably in an in-patient setting.

    The Nurse Practitioner will participate in community and professional efforts concerned with improving quality of health care, and also provide direct care as required in critical patient situations.

    Masters degree in Nursing required.
    License to practice in PA as a Nurse Practitioner.
    Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
    Certified in ACLS, PALS, and CPR

    Physical Therapist Needed!

    The Physical Therapist will evaluate and render all services and treatment techniques offered by the Home Care Department. This position will perform initial evaluations of patients in their homes, and also develop appropriate treatment plans including short-term and long-term goals. The Physical Therapist will have responsibilities in reevaluating patients according to departmental policies and procedures, and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Assures timely and appropriate care planning and adherence to policies and procedures by all therapists.
    This position will be working within a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care.

    The position is located in a Rural Health Clinic associated with a community hospital that is a part of a large health system. The community hospital is a 160 bed Acute Care hospital with a Skilled Care Nursing Facility attached.

    Registered and licensed as a Physical Therapist in PA.
    One year experience in a health care setting as a Physical Therapist.
    Experience with geriatrics and chronic illness
