My Profession
Executive Healthcare Consultant
A Bit About My Job
I have been in the “relationship building business” for the last 13 years and am excited to continue networking with you. I have always had a passion for helping others, whether directly or indirectly. I plan on continuing that trend by assisting the healthcare industry with any critical or acute recruitment and placement challenges. My areas of expertise include; Healthcare administration positions (CEO, COO, CFO, VP, Administrator), Physicians, Pharmacy Directors, Pharmacists, Nuclear Pharmacists, IT Pharmacists, Clinical Specialists, Clinical Pharmacists, Oncology Pharmacists, Radiology Directors, ER Directors, OR Directors, C.R.N.A.’s, Lab Directors, Rehab Directors, Cardio/Pulmonary Directors, Physicians Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. I deliver a value added “under promise, over deliver” philosophy to all of my clients and I will always put your best interests first.
I realize that the aging population and the baby boomers are the main cause for the shortages that are plaguing our health system and I want to be of assistance. Not only will you get an up front, honest approach, but you will secure the candidate that you are looking for to complement your staff and increase revenue, and for candidates, find that right fit opportunity that you've been looking for. And for candidates, I help and assist in finding that right-fit opportunity or dream job.
Talyst taking pharmacy operations to the next level Talyst is a fairly new product that is out that seems to do what we all dream of to increase productivity, decrease costs, and improve the level of patient care. There are not many products that can make that statement. I was talking to a Pharmacy Director in El Paso, TX today and he mentioned the product and after doing some research I have determined that this is the future of Pharmacy. Not only did they increase their revenue from $1.3M to $17.8M from 03 to 06, but they are one of the top 25 companies expected to go public (Inc. 500). They offer barcode labeling, inventory control, packaging, workflow management, space savings, remote dispensing and 340B processing. This is out of the box thinking and a great investment opportunity when they launch the IPO. This is truly innovation at its finest and the future of pharmacy.

The state of healthcare today needs change that is evident. I was listening to Clinicians Roundtable on XM the other day and they made several dynamic suggestions, opinions and questions that I thought I would share with you. Can operational effectiveness actually improve patient care and cut costs? I tend to agree with most people in the opinion that it will. Many times after a long day of 200+ calls on the telephone speaking to healthcare professionals I get the impression that operations, human resources, practice management, patient care and all of the other departments aren't working together to come up with the kind of solution we need to better healthcare in America.
We all have a vested interest in helping healthcare and it seems there are too many restrictions on ideas, thoughts, and needs and we really need to really streamline the process. If Physicians, Nurses, Administration, Allied Health, Ancillary Services, HR and the rest of the healthcare professionals all agree that there needs to be change, why can't we all get on the same page? Larger hospitals are too slow in making decisions and smaller hospitals and clinics don't typically have the resources to produce logical solutions unless they are critical access facilities. With the state of healthcare, medical insurance, tort reform, malpractice and the other obstacles we are facing, is there really a solution? I certainly think that this format of networking and thinking is the kind of outlet we need to really take this thing to the next level. Staffing issues can only be solved through continually motivating young people to seek a career in healthcare, but what are we going to do with the current aging population and the lack of talent throughout the country? Thoughts?

Thanks for your nice note. I greatly appreciate your comments. We're updating our marketing literature, and I'd love to use what you've said as a reference quote. Would that be OK? Is so, can I get your full name and title at work?
