As competition increase in the recruiting field firms are diligenty trying to brand themselves as unique. Aside from the obvious, what are clients looking for when partnering with a firm. They are looking for people who deliver on their promises but we have had clients where we have delivered to them top tier candidates which they have hired and yet the client still fails or chooses not to recognize the value add of partnering with a firm. What is the magic bullet here??
What do clients really want from a search firm?

As part of 2010 strategic planning I was asked to do a SWOT analysis for our healthcare division. One of the key threats, as I see it, to our agency is National Healthcare reform. As all recruiters know, the bottom line is 'will they pay a fee'? When the government is driving the health care bus and in many cases controlling the purse strings what will that do to the recruitment process and subsequent budgets? I realize no one knows at this point what it all means which leaves room for random thought.
