Well I have both NJ and NY license now if I could only find a job......shortage??? what shortage?????? UGH!
I did it.....
I graduated last week with BSN from UMDNJ...soooo I thought I would share my experience with other healthcare professsionals. Not sure anyone even reads on this site. I survived septic shock and ARDS...so when I tell my patient I understand I truly do! On a ventilator for a week, ICU for 2 weeks a total of 17 days in the hospital....While on ventilator I could hear what was going on even though I was heavily sedated, would come in and out of it...lovenox stings like a bitch....ABGs are horrific...ask patients if they have earaches when on a ventilator.. I had bad earaches in both ears and it took a day before someone realized I was in terrible pain...My NURSES and doctors where amazing! I know what it is to be critically ill and how important it was to me to have people touch and talk to me...
