    Update on the weight loss

    I have lost 18 pounds.  My weight loss has slowed down some, but that is to be expected.  It would have been nice to lose 10 pounds every 10 days, but lets face it that is not realistic or healthy.

    I need to add exercise to my diet, but I have not had the motivation with it being so cold.  I am hoping once I lose a little more and the weather gets warmer I will be more motivated to get out and exercise. 

    My goal-  Bikini by August!  lol

    Due to some warnings that came up at my last doctor's visit after bloodwork, I have decided to get eat healthy and lose weight.  Jeff has been wonderful in this.  He has made me a healthy dinner every night when I get off of work and buys healthy food.  With just a few diet changes, cutting out soft drinks, decreasing my carb intake significantly, and eating veggies, I have lost 10 pounds in 9 days.  Yay!  I still have quite a ways to go, but that was encouraging!  I will keep you updated on my progress!

    I have a new appreciation for inclement weather

    This morning I got up early on my day off, put on my snowboots, bundled up, and went to work outside for 4 hours.  I have a new appreciation for those who work outdoors, and am glad that there are people other than me that have that responsibility
